Project Plan – Lesson 7

The Manage Phase

 (7.1) Process Management:
               
Planning,leadership,monitoring & management of processes & constraints

(7.2) Student Preparation:
               
Students will be told about the idea of the project 2-3 weeks before it starts.A practice will be given on the usage of ICT.

(7.3)  Facilitation:
               
Usage of resources will be scheduled and booked in advance.

(7.4) Progress Monitoring:
               
Whole class meeting once per week.

Meetings with team members and informal daily checking with individuals on their work

(7.5) Re-planning:
              
An additional time allowance has been included in case project goes off track but strictly instructed to stick on to the end date. Home assignments can be carried to catch up if necessary.

(7.6) Conflict Management:
               
Team work rules will be included in the project launch presentation. Students are asked to initially try to work out conflicts on their own. In case not possible issues to be brought to the notice of teacher. Lack of participation will be viewed seriously and alternative tasks will be assigned.

(6.1)Student Reflection and Evaluation:
                
Students will be given an opportunity to reflect their views on: what I learned about and what to learn yet?, what I liked about and what I did not?, what skills I accumulated and how can I improve?.A subsequent lesson will be taken covering reflections obtained from each group of students.

(6.2) Teacher Reflection and Evaluation:
             
Teacher reflection and evaluation will cover the successes, challenges, achievements of the project.

Project Plan – Lesson 5The Do Phase


(5.1) Project Launch:
              
The project will be launched after a group meeting with the whole class.Every aspect of the project will be discussed .Students will be invited to have an open discussion on the various facts influencing the project. The final presentation will be displayed after printing int the class room as well as in the blog.

(5.2) Artifacts:
              
Students will prepare notes, will design and conduct survey, presentation outlines.

(5.3) Culminating product:
              
Reused plastic bottles based on the creativity will be displayed by the students. Each team will present their views on the project work. Posting in the blog will be presented by the team to the teacher.

(5.4) Celebrating completion:
              
The project will be displayed in the school for other section children to view. A report will be given in the news paper regarding the project to pass a message to the society.
