Arithmetic Progression - Lesson 2

Lesson 2
2.1 Essential Question:
            
Does pattern involving  Arithemetic  progression  looks beautiful  ?

2.2 Grouping Strategy:
           
Team will comprise of3 students of mixed gender, mixed ability and skills.This will promote teamwork,peer group  learning and low achievers will get the benefit of advanced collaboration of high achievers.

2.3 Learning Environment:
            
Arrangement of tables was made for each group to interact among themselves. Computer lab will be used for the majority of online work. Students collaborate among themselves through email and watsup.

2.4Assessment Approach:
               
                2.41 Authentic Assessment:
Explaining how the pattern forms an AP.
Noting the AP formed in the pattern 
           
2.42 Formative Assessment:
           
Regular feedback will be provided as the students work on survey and presentation of design/patterns.

2.43 Summative Assessment:
Assessment will be conducted on :
Presentation of design/pattern
Doing Art work to make it attractive.



2.44 Rubrics:
Rubrics will be used to assess :
Survey
Pattern selected
Presentation
Explaination   

2.45 Gradings:
Project grades will be based on a combination of scores from assessment made during the project. A rubric will be used to compute grades.
